The Blue Room
One of the most beautifull chambers of the Gaasbeek Castle is the Blue Room. Together with Valerie De Smedt, I painted the imitation stone in the four alcoves of the round room. We used the traditional technique with the wooden batten to draw the straight lines and achieved the structure of the imitation stone in oil paint.
